Why does every woman need a plan?

You may have already noticed that what worked for you before is not working now. Menopause may be  a natural phase of life, but it can also be a time of significant health challenges. As estrogen levels decline, your body becomes more susceptible to a range of issues, including heart disease, osteoporosis, weight gain, and even cognitive decline. It's like a ticking time bomb, and the only way to defuse it is to take action now.

There are over 30 known health risks associated with menopause. That's a lot to keep track of! A well-crafted plan can help you identify and address these risks, ensuring a healthier, happier menopause.

I've nicknamed my personal approach to managing menopause the 'Mind-Move-Munch' plan. This plan helps me focus on three key areas: mental well-being, physical activity, and nutrition. By making conscious choices in each of these areas - planning daily, weekly or monthly-  I'm finding I can significantly improve my overall health and quality of life during this transition.

Mind

Wellness Starts in Your Head

Menopause can be a wild ride, but taking care of yourself is like putting on a seatbelt. Stress can really throw you off balance, but things like meditation, exercise, and getting enough sleep can help you stay grounded. Remember, you're amazing, and you deserve to feel your best.

Move

You've Only Got One Body

Menopause can be a rollercoaster. But guess what? Exercise can really help smooth out the ride. It’s like a magic potion that can help with hot flashes, sleep, and mood. Plus, it’s great for keeping your bones strong and your heart healthy.

Munch

You Really ARE What You Eat

I hate to tell you, but what you put on your plate can have a huge impact on how you feel. Eating lots of non-processed, anti-inflammatory foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins can help with hot flashes, mood swings, and even weight management.

Looking for a more personalized approach?

Most women quickly learn that what's worked before doesn't work anymore.  Sigh. Personally my Menopause strategy has been what I call my  Mind-Move-Munch philosophy!  I've realized that everything that we need to adjust fits in one of those 3 pillars, and the simple nature makes it easy to self-customize because menopause is NOT a one size fits all!  Reach out if you need help customizing your plan.  I'll talk to you about my coaching approach and you can decide if it fits within the goals you are trying to achieve long term.

I'll get back to you soon!
